Catching Up With The Gang

It is March 2020 and the world is on lockdown. That doesn’t mean that you have to feel isolated or alone.

I am a Lucky Man

I am incredibly lucky to say that I have many, what I would class as, close friends. Wether that is from school mates that I am still in contact with, people who I have met along the way in my adult life, or those that have entered our lives via relationships.

In a normal life, we actually struggle to keep in touch in person as, you know, adulthood and life gets in the way. But last night we had our first catch up in 2020.

The Virtual Arms

One of the best perks of working at Bullhorn is that I can take advantage of having access to some great services, like Zoom.

Last night The Virtual Arms opened for business and we had our first booze filled catch up in since Christmas.

That was a fun night…

We managed to gather via Zoom and it felt great to see familiar and friendly faces. Some I have not seen for aaages.

Needless to say, Ray misbehaved, Clare barely showed up, and Lee was too busy standing at the bar. Some things never change.

For the next one, Nas is going to be quiz master.
